The time has now come for publication of confirmed results for many programmes.
For most standard undergraduate programmes this is the 24th of June, but this can vary depending on specific programme. You can find guidance on publication dates on the Student Portal (log in required) or speak to your faculty if you are unsure. You will be able to find you confirmed results on the DLE under the Tools and Resources tab.
We cannot stress how important it is for you to not only look over your transcript of results but also click on any links that are included and read any accompanying information.
Please ensure that you have read and understood the information given, as this will detail if you have successfully achieved the year or if you have unsuccessful or incomplete assessments.
Understanding your transcript...
We appreciate that sometimes transcripts can appear a little confusing, so the University have provided further information to help you understand your results.
If you have incomplete or unsuccessful assessments, you may be required to undertake referred work, which would ordinarily be during the summer period.
Please ensure, if you have referrals, you are aware of how, when and where this will take place as failure to submit work or attend an exam could have implications for the continuation of your study.
If you are informed you are required to repeat with attendance, you may need to amend your student finance application accordingly and ensure that you have adequate funding in place to cover the cost of the repeat. If you have any queries in relation to this, we can advise.
There may also be other options detailed on your transcript, such as compensated passes, extended referral, or, in worst case scenario, the requirement to withdraw.
If you remain confused about what any of it means, please get in touch and we will be happy to offer guidance. The best way to contact us is us via our online enquiry form attaching a copy of your transcript as a supporting document.
Please be aware we are unable to offer guidance on degree calculations/classifications. You can however find further guidance on this at Degree calculations.
