We understand that there is a lot of speculation around campus regarding potential changes and decisions that are to be made by the University of Plymouth.

We also know that speculation can cause/heighten anxiety and stress and we want to ensure that every student is aware of the support that they can access and the steps that they can take during this time.

The wellbeing of students is of the utmost importance to us, and we want to ensure that you know that support is available for you if you feel like you need it.

Student Wellbeing Services offer a raft of support and can be contacted in many different ways. They have an online referral form you can fill in, or you can email them at studentservices@plymouth.ac.uk or call them on 01752 587676.

You can find that information, as well as online resources, at the following part of the University of Plymouth website here.

There is also plenty of support available from local support services. These services are here to support people, so we recommend you look and consider making contact with any that you believe can assist you at this time. You can see them here.

Away from your wellbeing, we understand that there may be academic implications or concerns that you may have. If you want to discuss any of those concerns, or talk through options that are available to you, then please do reach out to our SU Advice Team.

They are experienced in what they do and are there to listen and to support you, by giving you relevant advice and information. You can find the details here.

The Students’ Union also has a team of student representatives, led by the Sabbatical Officers, that are elected to represent students, ensuring their voices are heard at high level University meetings down to a faculty, school and programme level. To find out more about how to contact your representatives and how they can support you, contact studentvoice@su.plymouth.ac.uk

So, if you are feeling concerned, or feel you need some extra support, know there are people and services here for you and please do reach out.
