We're looking for our University of Plymouth students to share their favourite shots of our campuses over spring!  Enter your photo for a chance to win!

Categories: 

  • Biodiversity on Campus – Flora and Fungi “Photos of plants and fungus taken on any of our campuses” 
  • Biodiversity on Campus – Fauna  “Photos of animals taken on any of our campuses.” 
  • Biodiversity on Home Soil – Flora and Fungi “Accepting photos from where home is currently for you, inclusive of placement students” 
  • Biodiversity on Home Soil – Fauna “Accepting photos from where home is currently for you, inclusive of placement students” 
  • Biodiversity and Human Impact - Flora and Fungi  "When the natural world and humans interact"
  • Biodiversity and Human Impact - Fauna "When the natural world and humans interact"

 


 

Judging criteria:

The judging panel will consist of members of staff across the University Estates, Academia and the SU. They will be looking for the following;

  1. How obvious is the photograph location?
  2. How clear is the identified feature?
  3. How much “wow” factor, or humour, is there in the photo?" 

 


 

Technical requirements:

  • A sentence explaining what is in the photo 
  • Photographed within the boundaries of a University of Plymouth building, eg Main Campus, DRF, Marine Station etc. For “Campus” 
  • Dimensions of photos must be no smaller than 1280 x 720, in a 16:9 HD ratio 
  • For all entries, no larger than 20 megabytes 
  • Photographs cannot include peoples’ faces or any shot that may allow for identification  
  • One submission per category

  • Total of 6 x winners  
  • £25 prize for winner of each category
