On July 15th 2025, six of the University of Plymouth Rowing senior men’s squad took on the Three Peaks Challenge to help raise money for Mind, a charity which offers life-changing support to those who are experiencing mental health difficulties.
This organisation means a lot to our club’s members, so we are glad the proceeds of the challenge are going to a good cause. - UPRC

The challenge 👉🏼
The group climbed more than 23 miles and 10,000 feet in altitude across the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, Snowdon), transporting themselves between each of the peaks. Despite the difficult weather conditions, the group persevered and the challenge was completed in 28 hours! 👏🏼
At the end of the 28 hours, we have raised just under £2000, which is to be split equally between Mind and UPRC to help with training resources and opportunities for new members in the next academic year. - UPRC
