Plymouth Uni Karate Club Make A Statement At BUCS Nationals

On 15th February 2026, three of our members - Joe Magor, Josh Webb & Mason Gardecki-Browett - headed to BUCS Nationals to compete.

Joe Magor won two fights, getting into the quarter finals.
Josh Webb won two fights, getting to the quarter finals.
Mason Gardecki-Browett lost 5-5 in the bronze medal match.

It was important to us, as a brand new club, to make a statement this year and win matches against universites who have competed in BUCS for many years. Many of them were shocked by the talent Plymouth University had and we have made a name for ourselves for karate nationally.
