Last week (Friday 9th February), we hosted the first of our series of SU International Cultural Nights in celebration of the Chinese New Year, organised by your SU President, Tonari, in collaboration with the Chinese Society.

There was a fantastic turnout for this night, where students immersed themselves in the rich tapestry of Chinese culture with live calligraphy demonstrations and authentic Chinese music, as well as the opportunity to indulge in a culinary journey with delicious and authentic Chinese cuisine prepared in-house by our SU Kitchen.

Formal dress including cheongsam was encouraged, with many students embracing this, creating a vibrant room of individuals uniting together in celebration.
