UPSU to pay tribute to David Bowie with film and music

After receiving significant feedback from Plymouth University students, tonight (Thursday 14th January) UPSU will be holding two FREE events to play tribute to the life of David Bowie.

The evening kicks off at 7pm in the SU with a FREE showing of David Bowie's 1986 film Labyrinth.
This will then be followed by a Jam House Open Mic night dedicated to the music of David Bowie. The night is open to students and non-students to come and enjoy the music or perform themselves, with FREE ENTRY throughout the night.

UPSU Events Manager Michelle Rysdale said:
It’s great to see so many people especially students wanting to honour the life and work of David Bowie. He had a significant impact on a wide range of generations and what better way to honour him than an evening of film and music held in the SU.
