The art of Jiu-Jitsu was brought from Australia to the UK by Pete Farrar. He went on to found the first club in Plymouth. From this club sprung many others all over the UK, Canada, the United States, South Africa and many others! The Jiu-Jitsu foundation is comprised of many wonderful individuals, so let’s celebrate together and remember all those who helped us on our journey.

We welcome you to come to the UK’s birth place of Jiu-Jitsu, and join us for a weekend of celebration, and training. This will include a delicious three-course meal at the stunning location of the Mountbatten Centre, four hours of training, and much more. It will be a chance to come home to the club that started it all and celebrate in true Jitsu style; training and socialising.

Pricing:

Individual black tie event: £45

Combination tickets: £50

Saturday and Sunday training: £15

All proceeds from the event will be going to Plymouth Domestic Abuse Service (PDAS) as well as a guaranteed £5 from each ticket sale.

Accommodation: If you decide to stay overnight at the Mountbatten Centre then ring to let them know that you are coming to this event for a 10% discount! There are multiple room options from en-suite doubles to 6 per dorm. If you would like the cheaper option and assistance to be placed with people then please contact plymjitsu40th@gmail.com and we will be more than happy to help!
