For only £22.50 you will learn how to sail!
This is a four session crash course in learning to sail offered by the University of Plymouth Sailing and Powerboat Club. We promise by the end you will understand how sailing works, what to do and wish you did it sooner!
What do I need?
1). Some shoes you don't mind getting wet
2). A can do attitude
3). £22.50 to learn a new sport
When is it?
1). Wednesday 20th March 13:30 - 17:00
2). Saturday 23rd March 12:00 - 17:00
3). Wednesday 27th March 13:30 - 17:00
4). Saturday 30th March 12:00 - 17:00
Where is it?
We sail from Mount Batten Activities Centre, there is a ferry that departs from Mayflower Steps on the Barbican at quarter to and quarter past the hour for £4 return, although we offer car share wherever possible.
What is Supplied?
All sailing and safety gear. (Boats, Buoyancy Aids and wetsuits etc)
RYA Qualified safety boat cover
RYA Qualified Instructor's on-hand at all times
This is limited to 30 spaces and is open to any and everyone enrolled at The University of Plymouth!
