If you are interested in volunteering with the maintance team of Dartmoor Zoo then this event is for you! The maintenance can include helping with small construction projects, enclosure enhancement, fencing, sweeping leaves and gardening!

We will be meeting on the SU Roof at 7:30am where we will then walk to Union Street to catch a bus to Dartmoor Zoo (Transport cost to the Zoo costs £6 total and is not covered by the society) and we will return to the SU Roof by bus at 6pm.

Also be sure to bring suitable footwear like boots, waterproofs and gloves too. Lunch will not be provided either so please do bring your own or buy some at the Zoos restaurant! As this activity involves manual handling and other physical activites it can be physically challenging but rewarding.

This event is members only due to a limited number of spaces however we will try to do more volunteering with Dartmoor Zoo in the future! If you are interested in this event, you must purchase a free ticket - you will not be able to join in and come with us if you have not purchased a ticket!
