Do you enjoy talking to public, learning new facts or want to see if public engagement is for you? If any of these apply to you then this event is perfect for that!

We will be going to Dartmoor Zoo and working with their Education team to engage the public about their artefact collection! This event is great to gain public speaking skills, confidence, make contacts at Dartmoor Zoo or to even just learn more. We will be meeting on the SU roof at 10:45am to catch the bus to get to Dartmoor Zoo and we will be getting the bus back from Dartmoor Zoo leaving at 4:30pm to get back for around 5pm.

Tickets are free but are limited and only open to members so please remember to get one if you wish to come to this event. This event will also require extra reading in advance so please message @uopzoosoc on Instagram to receive more information on this. Bus tickets are not included in this event so please be sure to have £6 spare to pay for bus tickets to get to Dartmoor Zoo and back. Lunch is also not included so please bring snacks and refreshments along. You will also be representing Dartmoor Zoo at this event so please wear non offensive clothing at the event.
