Come join us during our Friday hangouts for some gaming on the big screens in the Rolle Building from 7pm-10pm! Room setup is from 6:30pm-7pm, so if you’d like to take part in some volunteering and help us get the rooms ready please fill out this form and we’ll be in touch: https://forms.gle/q3tL6D5S5nWg1NJx5

No Switch, consoles or controllers are needed for any of our sessions, we have our own consoles and plenty of controllers, but if you do have any please bring it along! We have access to lots of big screens and smaller TVs, so feel free to bring docks along too.

Join us for our friendly competition at our SwitchUP Challenge Night! The event will take place in Rolle 117, where participants will compete across a variety of games to earn the highest scores and win prizes.

The room will feature several smaller tables with multiple screens set up, allowing everyone to take part in a range of challenges. Partway through the session, all games will be swapped so that players have the opportunity to experience and compete in different titles.

Whether you’re a regular gamer or simply looking for a fun way to spend the evening, Challenge Night is the perfect opportunity to test your skills, meet others, and enjoy a lively gaming atmosphere.

Prizes will be awarded to the top scorers at the end of the night!

Simultaneously, we will be hosting a Retro Night in our other rooms, where we provide a number of consoles, including but not limited to the Wii, PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and Wii U. Lots of us will be bringing DS’s too! We will also be providing a number of games, including guitar hero and its drumkit, guitars and microphones, as well as all the Wii classics, from Wii Sports to Wii Party to Super Smash Bros.

We aim to be as welcoming and supportive as possible, so if you have any worries about accessibility or are just feeling nervous about getting involved get in contact with us via our social media/email and we’ll do our best to help! In the past we have met people in a familiar spot on campus to walk to the session together, or we have met outside the Rolle building, or just outside the room so you don’t have to walk in alone. We can make sure you’re able to get involved by saying hi, having a chat and teaching you how to play some of our favourite games! If that's not your vibe, and you just want to solo grind some Zelda or Mario Kart time trials that's also completely fine!

Snacks and drinks are welcome, being mindful that some of our members have allergies, as long as everything is left clean and tidy, and help reorganising the room after the session is very welcome, we hope to see you there!

The best way to get in contact with us is our Instagram or the discord (DM a committee member), but you can also message our Email and Facebook if needed.

If you join the Discord please fill out the Google Form in #member-verification and comment “done” in the channel so we can add the role for you.
