Want to try stand-up paddleboarding for the first time, or simply get a feel for the society? Then this session is for you! Join us for a taster paddle run by the amazing team at South West SUP – we can’t wait to meet you!
Meet on the SU roof at 9am to walk down with the committee, or arrive at South West SUP by 10am if you're making your own way there :)
You will need:
- A swimsuit (ideally worn underneath your clothes on the way there due to limited changing facilities)
- A towel
- A fleece/jacket to wear over your wetsuit whilst on the water
- To sign the saftey waiver found linked in our Instagram bio @plymunisup
Feel free to bring your own wetsuit, water shoes or buoyancy aid, but these can all be borrowed from South West SUP at no extra cost!
Event photography and video
Please be aware that some of the University of Plymouth Students’ Union events may be attended by UPSU approved photographers and videographers, for capturing content to be used in UPSU and University online and offline marketing and promotional materials,
for example webpages, social media or flyers. If for whatever reason, you or a member of your group, do not wish to be photographed, please make yourself known to staff working at the event on arrival or to the photographer.
