From the middle of November wearing a wetsuit to all sea swims is HIGHLY reccomended but not absolutely necessary as we will check the sea temperature on the day and put a message on the members groupchat.
We will meet down on the hoe by the water for a social swim. Every attendee must have completed the pool section of their swim competency check and they will be required to complete the sea competency check if they haven't done so already.

All leaders and lifeguards are appropriately qualified and we have the correct kit to conduct a session safely and properly.
Judging by the current forecast, a 15 minute time limit will be imposed to ensure maximum safety, but this will be reviewed closer to the time. 20 attendees maximum as there is only one lifeguard present.
Wind is low-moderate. Chance of rain is low. Air temp is forecast to be around 10 degrees. Water temp is TBC estimated at 12 degrees.

Please be aware that some of the University of Plymouth Students’ Union events may be attended by UPSU approved photographers and videographers, for capturing content to be used in UPSU and University online and offline marketing and promotional materials,
for example webpages, social media or flyers. If for whatever reason, you or a member of your group, do not wish to be photographed, please make yourself known to staff working at the event on arrival or to the photographer.
