Synchro is discipline which has a mix of swimming, dancing and gymnastics. We welcome people with any background and isn’t hard to pick up at any age. Being a team sport you become a member of the family that all support and help each other. Members will have the choice of being in smaller groups like duets, solos and trios to display. Having two captains means you will get valuable attention and support of any kind. There will be plenty of opportunities to voice your opinions and contribute if you so wish on things like routines and music choice.

This free give it a go session will be at the Life Centre at 7pm until 8pm.

What to expect?

- A basic swimming warm up

- Two knowledgeable captains who are happy to answer any questions about synchro as a sport

- An introduction to techniques in synchro - A chance to try out some more complex moves such as lifts

- With the underwater speakers to play the music for the session

What to bring?

- Swimming costume

- Hat if you have one!

- Goggles (optional)

- Nose clip (if you have one, bring it along)

- Towel

- Water bottle
