Celebrate St Patrick's Day with us in the SU

Join us in the SU to celebrate St Patrick's Day!

We will have incredible music brought to you by Black Friday and Kid Hyena to get you in the mood! 

Special food and drink will be served throughout the event, including:

Drinks

  • Guinness - £3.80 a pint
  • Jameson Irish Whiskey - £2.20 a shot (double up for £1.50 extra)
  • Baby Guinness (Tia Maria topped with Baileys Irish Cream) - £1.50 a shot
  • Shamrock Bomb (Baileys shot surrounded by Guinness) - £2.50 each or 3 for £6

You can also turn your drink green for free, just ask for it green at the bar when ordering! 

Food

  • Shamrock Burger (£8)
    Premium beef patty topped with bacon, cheese, homemade Guinness battered onion rings and an Irish whisky aioli
     
  • Emerald Isle (£7)
    Vegan spicy bean patty topped with vegan cheese, homemade Guinness battered onion rings and an Irish whisky aioli
     
  • Fools Broccoli (£5)
    Homemade green (yes we said green!) tempura fried cauliflower bites. Served with a choice of BBQ, Buffalo, or Habanero sauce
     
  • Southern Fried Chicken Strips (£6)
    Five chicken strips served with a ‘pot o’ gold’ (homemade burger sauce with a gold shimmer)
            
  • Clover Cake (£3)
    Mint chocolate gateau, served with whipped cream and fresh mint

 



Live music: 

Black Friday
3:30 - 6:30pm

Black Friday's music is influenced by their Irish/Cornish roots and folk heroes. Catchy original songs and take on folk favourites by the likes of Flogging Molly and Pogues!

 

Kid Hyena
7:30 - 9pm

A musical culture clash breaking boundaries of genre with foot stompin' sing along tunes, fiery percussion, tap dance beats, double bass & a bundle of positive vibes!
