Acquire a Level 3 Qualification in Emergency First Aid At Work
Accredited by ITC and provided by Really Good First Aid, this Level 3 qualification is designed to provide essential life saving skills.
Topics include:
* Roles & Responsibilities
* Assessing incidents
* Dealing with collapse (with and without breathing)
* Choking
* Bleeding
* Shock
* Seizures
* Minor workplace incidents
* Using first aid kit
Typical delivery methods are predominantly practical, and the course is assessed by continual observation of candidate performance. The course has been modified to comply with current Covid-19 guidelines. Social distancing will be observed, the practical aspect of the course will take place using dummies (one per candidate). A certificate will be issued on completion of the session.
Discounts are available to designated First Aiders of a UPSU Sports Club or Society. These discounted tickets are limited to a certain number per a club/society (typically one per group). If you are purchasing one of these discounted tickets, you should have permission to do so from your club's/society's committee and the relevent department. Your membership status of a club/society will be verified by UPSU's Student Development team and will be charged in full should you not meet the requirements.

for example webpages, social media or flyers. If for whatever reason, you or a member of your group, do not wish to be photographed, please make yourself known to staff working at the event on arrival or to the photographer.
