This week we're joined by The Rock Daltons!
Blending a mix of Rock, Pop and Funk, the Rock Daltons are hitting the Plymouth music scene providing high level covers and original music ranging from the 60s to current day. The band prides themselves on not just playing music but providing real, live entertainment.
Nige and Shaun provide the engine room for the band. Nige has drummed with every sort of musical genre and uses his unique style, his amazing vocals and multi-voiced kit to enrich the percussion. With an unparalleled amount of experience and knowledge, Shaun plays an almost metronomic bass; look out for him expressing himself with his personal style of licks and melodic fills. Ben plays rhythm and lead guitar. Ben is inspired by blues rock and this shows in his playing. He enjoys playing the lead licks and solos especially. The vocals are led by Ash. Ash’s almost hifi vocal qualities are intertwined with the band to produce a high quality and well balanced sound. The music is balanced and produced by their own soundman, Jerry. Jerry’s knowledge, ear and deft touch help the band perform in any venue and achieve the best experience for the audience possible.
The band enjoys playing a lively mix of music. They do not specialise in one type of music. Instead, the setlists are chosen carefully to provide an evening’s entertainment where there will be opportunities to dance, jump around and sing along. Current songs, for example, range from hits by Queen, The Black Crowes, Blur, The Doobie Brothers, The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Royal Blood, to name a few.
