Your opportunity to make changes to the UPSU Bye-laws and Memorandum and Articles of Association
Each year at the Annual Student Meeting students have the opportunity to suggest, debate and vote on changes they want to make to UPSU's governing documents. These are the rules which set out the purpose and activities of the Union as well as specific processess such as how sports clubs and societies or Union Council operate.
If you would like to make an amendment to the Memorandum and Articles of Association (M&A's)or Bye-laws please email the Student Voice Team with any changes you wish to present at the meeting. All suggested changes will need to be proposed and seconded by full members* of the Union.
All ASM processes and deadlines are governed by the General meeting Bye-law
ASM Timescales:
*Students registered on Univiersity of Plymouth courses in the UK, whether at Plymouth Campus, a satellite campus or at a partner FE institution are full members of the union unless they have opted out in writing.

Event photography and video
Please be aware that some of the University of Plymouth Students’ Union events may be attended by UPSU approved photographers and videographers, for capturing content to be used in UPSU and University online and offline marketing and promotional materials,
for example webpages, social media or flyers. If for whatever reason, you or a member of your group, do not wish to be photographed, please make yourself known to staff working at the event on arrival or to the photographer.
