The next CPD event in the Physio Society Calendar is the Kinesiology Taping course. On the course the following areas will be covered: Symptom reduction taping Oedema control taping Postural control taping

The Physio Society is excited to partner once again wityh out Sponsors Pro-Active to offer Kinesiology Taping exclusively to uOP physiotherapy students. 

On the course the following areas will be covered:

• Symptom reduction taping

• Oedema control taping

• Postural control taping

The techniques taught can be utilised in the effective management of both sporting and non-sporting patients in both their treatment and rehabilitation and these are important skills to possess in a really new modality.

On this one day course then all of the areas below will be covered in detail

• Neck and Shoulders

• Rotator Cuff Tendinopathy

• Impingement syndrome

• Lumbar Spine/Sacroiliac Joint

• Hamstring Offload / Strain

• Quad Strain

• IT Bands

• Plantar Fasciitis

• Achilles Tendinopathy

• Ankle Inversion Sprain

• Shin Splints

• Anterior Knee Pain

• MCL/LCL Sprain

• Lateral Epicondylitis – Tennis Elbow

• Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

• Oedema control upper and lower extremity.
