How to be come a vaccination volunteer with St John Ambulance - Information and sign up session!
The first aid society and SJA Plymouth University student volunteering unit are offering the opportunity to become a vaccine volunteer as part of the government's national mass vaccination scheme, helping out at a local centre - whether that be delivering the vaccine, supporting members of the public through the process or providing signposting. We are recruiting for three roles - Volunteer vaccinator (Being trained to administer vaccines), Care volunteer, and Patient advocate. Full training and support provided for all roles. This is an AMAZING opportunity to gain new skills, make new friends, and play your part in a historically groundbreaking event, making a difference within your local community.
You will also become a member of SJA Plymouth Student Volunteering unit, where further opportunities to learn new skills and take on other interesting roles lie ahead.
This short session will talk you through the application process and how to sign up - plus, there'll be lots of chances to ask any questions.
In the meantime, please become a member of the first aid society (For free) and consider coming along to a few of our weekly sessions. :) It would be great to see you there - any questions, contact summer.ashbury@sja.org.uk
