10 Tropical Heroes (Plymouth Marrow Fundraiser)
The Tropical Island Society will be fundraising for Plymouth Marrow. Every 14 minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with blood cancer. For someone with blood cancer, a stem cell transplant could be their last chance of survival. Plymouth Marrow organises and runs Spit Clinics to help recruit donors to the bone marrow register, raise funds for Anthony Nolan, and hosts enjoyable socials for their hard-working members and volunteers.
Our contribution will be in the form of 10 challenges which are associated with Afro-Caribbean Heroes! For every £25 raised our members will participate in one of the following challenges: Pied in the Face, Leg Wax, 75 Sit ups, Selfie with the Seagulls (dressed in costume), Split in the Middle by the Committee, TIS Guys in Bikini Tops, Eggs to the head, WAP Dance Challenge, Blindfold Eating Challenge and Winter Hoe Dip.
To donate visit the just giving page via the link attached. For more information about the heroes and the challenges do check our socials!
