A talk from James Lord from Plymouth Marine Laboratory

Considering biodiversity conservation as a career? Ever wondered what it would be like to work for a small NGO in a tropical biodiversity hotspot? Maybe you didn’t know that was an option. James will talk about his experience working for three NGOs in Belize and in the Grenadines, where he worked for seven years, first as a grant writer then eventually executive director, developing and implementing conservation programs. He will share some of the challenges and the joys of building environmental stewardship in Caribbean coastal communities.
