Jiu Jitsu fitness session

45 mins of fitness via zoom taken by our instructor, Sensei Toby. The sessions will be dynamic, with whole body fitness, including some jiu jitsu related activities. It will be possible to undertake the exercises from you bedroom, with no mat needed. Have a belt to hand (a martial arts belt or an ordinary one) which may be used in some sessions. Everyone welcome! If you have any specific medical condition that increases your injury risk while exercising you may want to check with your doctor before training. You are training at your own risk, the Jiu Jitsu Foundation will not accept responsibility or liability for any injury or harm you sustain as a result of participating in our online programmes You agree to make a safe space in order to perform the exercise (ideally ensuring there is at least a 2m x 2m clear space with fixed floor covering). You can omit any parts of the exercise programme that is not safe to perform, or you do not have the space to perform

Event photography and video

Please be aware that some of the University of Plymouth Students’ Union events may be attended by UPSU approved photographers and videographers, for capturing content to be used in UPSU and University online and offline marketing and promotional materials, for example webpages, social media or flyers. If for whatever reason, you or a member of your group, do not wish to be photographed, please make yourself known to staff working at the event on arrival or to the photographer.
