Starting University can be a difficult time for a lot of people especially if you are new to living in the UK. Global Buddies is a group for international students currently being held via ZOOM.
Calling all International/EU/EEA students at the University of Plymouth!
We know a lot of you are remaining in Plymouth/|UK during the current lockdown situation, either through choice or because you were unable to travel home.
We acknowledge this can be a very challenging time for us all, but connecting with others can really help and be fun!
Student Services are running a weekly group on Zoom (video conferencing software) where you can meet others in a similar situation to connect, chat and learn strategies to improve your wellbeing.
The group often discusses topics such as life in the UK, stories of peoples home countries, University life, how to improve your wellbeing as well as addressing any difficulties students may be having. The group is facilitated by two of our student wellbeing services staff who are both very excited to meet you all!
