An Evening With ...Women in STEM Featuring Dr Caroline Palmer

Dr. Palmer will be talking about how and why she became a marine biologist, her research that established the field of coral immunology, and starting the coral reef conservation charity Seeking Survivors. Additionally, she will also be sharing some personal stories and experiences as a woman in science.

 

In recognition of International Woman’s Day, The Marine Biology Society will be presenting a special edition of their “An Evening With….” talks on the 5th and 19th of March featuring Dr. Caroline Palmer and Catherine Buckland.

Join us to hear a little more about their experiences, and stories about being a woman in STEM. 

These talks will be held in Portland Square, Stonehouse LT, with a start time of 6 pm.
