What motivated you to run for a full-time representative role?

I am running for President of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Business because I believe in strong, inclusive student representation. With experience as a former Student Union Sports Director and Faculty President, I have led initiatives improving engagement, communication, and academic support. I am a confident, solution-focused leader committed to transparency, wellbeing, employability, and ensuring every student feels heard, supported, and empowered.

Why do you think you would be a good President?

I would be an effective President because I combine proven leadership experience with a strong commitment to representation and inclusivity. As former Student Union Sports Director and Faculty President, I improved engagement, communication, and academic support while strengthening my advocacy and negotiation skills. I am a confident communicator dedicated to fairness, wellbeing, employability, and ensuring every student feels heard, supported, and empowered throughout their university journey.

What three words would your friends use to describe you?

Dependable best describes me because I take responsibility seriously and always follow through on commitments. In roles such as Student Union Sports Director and Faculty President, I demonstrated organisation, accountability, and reliability. I am also approachable, building trust through open communication and active listening. Above all, I am driven—motivated to set clear goals, work hard, and serve others with dedication, integrity, and purpose.

If you could change one thing in your Faculty what would that be?

If I could change one thing, I would create an inclusive student engagement and development programme to strengthen community, wellbeing, and opportunity. I would introduce skills showcases, exhibitions, pitch competitions, networking events, and a faculty football competition to promote talent, collaboration, and belonging. Alongside this, I would advocate for a faculty-based welfare scheme focused on peer support and early intervention to enhance the overall student experience.
