What motivated you to run for a Sabbatical Officer role and why do you think you would be a good Sabbatical Officer?

I have good communication skills which helps me to connect people and understand their problems which I could resolve with a positive attitude. In my graduation year I had been part of various events in my college.

Why is the Sabbatical Officer role important?

By being a sabbatical officer I would get to work with the university as I like helping people and by doing this I would also get some good experience which may grow better as a person and will also boost my confidence.

What three words would your friends use to describe you?

Funny, Dedicated and Hard working

If you could change one thing about the University, what would that be?

It wouldn't be a change but an addition of introducing some softskill programmes for students by getting some companies involved where they can learn how do they need to prepare themselves for the career they are opting and it would also be a opportunity for them to showcase themselves.

If you could change one thing about the Students' Union, what would it be?

Change the office layout where the students can direct interact the officers and also during events in SU for example the party events where there an entry amount charged could be increased and add up some free shots or a complimentary drink.

Who do you draw most inspiration from and why?

It would be my father as he has been my inspiration and thought me how to deal with situations with a smile on the face and be positive in any situation.

What is your proudest moment so far and why?

It would be me coming to UK for my education as I belong from India and after struggling for so many years and with unstable financial condition i worked hard and finally it me and my families dreams came true thats the proudest moment of my life.
