Hello! My name is KC Chukwudi Kosi Ezenyi, your current VP Activities and I’m re-running to be your SU President. Since being your VP activities, I can say that I have achieved a lot, even outside my role, but there is more to be done.
If elected as president, below are a few of the many things I intend to achieve:
Inclusivity: I will endeavour to make the university more inclusive for students from minority groups such as postgraduate and nursing students. I will lobby for full representation for these groups by ensuring student events fit within their timetable.
Democracy: Ensure that there is more student representation on university committees in order to get wider student views and participation by using the likes of our part time officers, course reps, members of our sports clubs and societies.
Sustainability: I will create student led initiatives where students with more sustainability knowledge are being empowered to educate others. My long term goal is to create a university where all students have the foundational knowledge of sustainability. Change starts with us
Regardless if you know me or not, I want to represent all students to the best of my ability.
