Hello everyone. My name is Chukwudi Kosi Ezenyi (KC), a postgraduate Operations & Supply Chain Management student with the University of Plymouth, and I am vying to be your VP Activities and Development. With experiences gained from being the event manager of the Nigerian student society, a course rep and student ambassador, I would like to be a voice for societies and their members. I believe societies help in uniting people.
Below are a few of the many things I intend doing if elected into this position:
IMMENSE RECOGNITION: I would ensure the university gives recognition such as awards, promotions and scholarships to students/societies that are excelling in various activities as a form of encouragement. This will also encourage other students to get involved.
FINANCIAL SUPPORT: I will work with societies to help them secure more sponsorships and organise fundraising events in order for them to run successfully without financial distress.
INCLUSIVITY AND EQUALITY: Ensure that societies are very welcoming to students that desire to be part of them, and every member is treated equally. I intend to regularly organise events that would include all societies. There is beauty in unity.
