1. Quality communication and services: A learning environment where there good, clearer and quality communication between students and lecturers is very essential. I will do this by organizing meetings with course representatives to get feedback about student-lecturer communication. I will also work with the IT service to provide an online medium where students can give anonymous feedback.
2. Providing the right and appropriate facilities: Students are entitled to be able to easily gain access to the facilities that are needed for their studies. I will ensure this is done by using the feedback gotten from course reps and students, to communicate with the IT service, library services and student voice team to ensure that all every facility and computer software needed, are available and easy to access. Also ensuring that updated books, journals, and articles are being provided to students in the library.
3. Improve the peer assisted learning scheme(PALS): improving the PALS by working the course societies to help students especially new ones find a good friend network amongst course mates who will help them in advice, answering questions and balancing life and work.
4. Providing a sustainable community: A community where there is sustainability is essential. I will do this by ensuring that the university provides a diverse community where there is sustainability in education.
