Hi, my name is Angus and I am running for VP Activities and Development. Since starting BA Digital Art and Technology, I’ve been a student representative and ambassador for my course. You may know me as Chair for the Photography Soc or Secretary for SU:Video. Whether you know me or not, I want to do my best at representing all students at Plymouth University.
Why Should You Vote For Me?
I professionally work with students as an Events Technician, therefore, already bring understanding and experience of engaging with societies. Also, I bring several relevant technical skills to the role, including graphic design, social media management, video editing and photography.
What I Promise To Do
Get more students involved with activities by running creative workshops on improving promotion. These workshops will be dedicated to social media, photography and videography throughout the year to help raise awareness of societies.
Improve both volunteering recognition and participation by creating a fresh YouTube channel for the department that students can get involved in to promote all the incredible volunteering opportunities that go on within the UPSU community.
Finally, communication between UPSU and the University of Plymouth will be developed by creating social media pages where all academic courses can network and interact with society committee and members.
