1 – I will work with the services the university provides to create a wellbeing pack, full of resources to help students improve their own wellbeing. This will be distributed at the start of each year to every student to help signpost them in the right direction when they need help.

2 – I will celebrate students’ differences by organising events that empower liberation groups (women, BAME, LGBTQ+, & disabled students), such as inviting guest speakers from all walks of life to give talks and inspire students. I will communicate with representatives from liberation groups to ensure that every student’s voice is heard.

3 – I will lobby for peer assisted learning schemes to be introduced to every course in the university, where students can support fellow students with academic work and gain confidence in their subject. Alongside PALS, I will continuously develop the ‘students supporting students’ initiative where trained students can signpost other students to appropriate services the university offers.
