I have been a student rep for 2 years and a member of the psychology student council for nearly 3. I have been active in building better communication between staff and students. I would continue to do this as school rep as well as providing advocacy for students.
I believe student wellbeing is very important and having been subject specific ambassador for 2 years, wellbeing is the main question from both prospective students and their families, for this reason I would like to work closely with the VP for welfare, to provide the school with a better understanding of what is available.
As a mature student, it is also important to me to give a clearer voice to mature students in order to enhance both learning and social experience.
I worked closely with Victoria who was last year’s school rep, so I am aware of the role. I have a good relationship with both faculty and students across all stages.
I would be privileged to represent my fellow students and look forward to the possibility of doing so.
