School of Psychology December School Rep Update

 I am writing to provide you with a comprehensive update on my recent activities as the School Representative

 

1. Meeting Participation

  I have been actively involved in key meetings, including the Faculty of Health Teaching and Learning Quality Committee, UPC meeting, Programme Committee meeting, and School Representative meeting, ensuring effective representation and collaboration across various committees.

 

2. Communication and Updates

   I have maintained regular communication with Programme Leads  to address student concerns, providing timely updates and staying connected with Course Reps.

 

3. Deputy Appointment and Introduction:

   I have successfully appointed a deputy and organized an introduction, ensuring a smooth transition and consistent representation in adherence to responsible meeting attendance.

 

4. Support for Course Reps

   I proactively communicate with Course Reps, offering solutions to challenges and fostering strong relationships within the student body.

 

5. Handling International Student Issues

   - Addressed concerns related to international students, particularly in regards to Visa restrictions

 

6. Programme Committee Engagement

   - Attended the Programme Committee meeting, providing feedback on behalf of my cohort to ensure the student perspective is well-represented in academic decisions.

 

7. School Representative Meeting Attendance

   - Participated in the School Representative meeting with School Reps from across the university, contributing to discussions and staying informed about broader matters affecting numerous schools and the student community.
