Volunteer with Devon and Cornwall Railways
Come and join the Devon and Cornwall Railways Student Led Volunteering team as we embark on a journey to Sandplace Station, which is along the beautiful and scenic Looe Valley Line.
At Sandplace we will be volunteering to help maintain the railway station through general groundskeeping and a touch of TLC.
We will be meeting on campus outside the SU Shop at 10.15 - 10.20am - please arrive on time as we will be leaving promptly. We will then walk to Plymouth station where we will be provided with a free train voucher to travel to Sandplace station, have a great time, and then return to Plymouth Station at 4.45pm.
Please wear warm, wet weather clothing and suitable footwear (wellies, sturdy trainers or workboots) as you will be doing general gardening work outside. It is also advised that you bring a packed lunch and a drink.
