Volunteer with Tulgey woods in Mannamead to help enhance this wildlife haven
The Green Team are starting off the year with volunteering at Tulgey Woods, a natural community wildlife haven situated in the city centre.
tasks will involve general maintenance of the woods as well as helping to identify new species of plant and wildlife in the area. This work may contain some tasks that will work up a sweat so please tak this into consideration.
Weather appropriate clothing and suitable shoes will be needed during your time and please bring water and a snack.
You will meet in the Hive in the Students Union Building and walk together to the woods, they are situated around a 20 minute walk from campus. A map will be provided by staff in the Hive. The activity will finish around 4pm and volunteers can make their own way to your homes from there.

for example webpages, social media or flyers. If for whatever reason, you or a member of your group, do not wish to be photographed, please make yourself known to staff working at the event on arrival or to the photographer.
