Hi, I’m Misha, I’m a first-year international business student and in my spare time I contribute to RAG as an event coordinator and recently as a treasurer. I am also a course rep and a vice project leader for Enactus.

I am a committed and dedicated member of RAG. I have attended and helped out with almost all events and promotions since I signed up for Freshers. My roles as events coordinator and treasurer have allowed me to gain valuable experience in how RAG operates.

Through my course and other volunteer and society roles, I have developed many skills which I would bring to the role. I am a good listener, so I will make sure everyone gets a chance to speak and be heard. This has also led to me becoming good at managing time and organising work effectively, this would be helpful in the role of VP as I would be able to organise meetings effectively and make time for people within RAG.

Throughout my course, I have gained an advanced skill set that includes marketing, financing and being an effective leader. Furthermore, from these skills I have also gained experience and learned about sustainable businesses, I have done this by working with clients and businesses, these all will prove valuable for the role.

I have volunteered with Younique Travel Adventures, fundraising to provide accessible education and other necessities for children in Kenya. I will bring the skills and experience I have learnt about fundraising through this to RAG.
What are my aims?
- Increase RAGs profitability by holding events more frequently so we can support our charities better
- Increase student involvement by collaborating with different societies and clubs and making events fun
- Continue RAGs and UPSUs sustainability goals by minimising single-use plastic and using reusable products and recycling everything
- Support events coordinator by improving communication methods and increasing openness
-Show how great it is to volunteer with RAG, making sure more students know how it can benefit your studies, social life, CV, and you have fun!
