CyberMentors support young people who are experiencing online bullying, through the use of a very clever anti bullying website. All CyberMentoring takes place from the comfort of your own PC.
Being a Senior CyberMentor Volunteer is a fantastic way to give back to your community through a pioneering and new way to Volunteer. This is Online Volunteering, or Digital Volunteering as we call it. All you need to become a Senior CyberMentor is passion and empathy for young people. You need to be aged between 18-25 and you need regular access to the internet. You also need to be able to give us around 2 hours of your time each week for a minimum of 4 months. We’ll give you first class training, a fabulous reference and you’ll join an army of other Senior CyberMentors all over the UK, who are, right now, helping to change the lives of young people affected by bullying and discrimination forever.
The next training session here at Plymouth is planned for the first term of the next academic year so keep checking for info! To find out all the details, contact the Volunteer Department.
