What’s new for Summer Ball 2026?

  • Red Carpet Entrance at UPSU Summer Ball

    5pm Start Time

This year, we’re kicking off two hours earlier, giving you more time to party. Make the most of the evening at the bar, silent disco, or eating your way round campus.

  • Silent Disco at UPSU Summer Ball

    Bigger, Better Silent Discos

Not only is the Silent Disco moving to the Main Hall, meaning more room and shorter queues, it’s also open all night long!

  • Food at UPSU Summer Ball

    Affordable Food Options

We’ve implemented a price cap so all food vendors will be selling a £5 option and a £10 meal. This is your campus; you shouldn’t have to fork out to eat out.

  • VIP at UPSU Summer Ball

    VIP Available To All

In years gone by, our VIP area has only been available to Final Year students. This year, VIP tickets will be available to everyone on a first come first serve basis.

  • Branded Bars at UPSU Summer Ball

    More Bar Space

We know wait times weren’t up to standard last year, so this year there are more bars! Pimm’s and Jubel are returning to campus, plus other well-loved suppliers.

  • Drinks at the Bar at UPSU Summer Ball

    Drinks Vouchers

You can purchase up to two drinks vouchers per person ahead of time this year - collect them from The Hive when you get your wristband.

  • Main Stage at UPSU Summer Ball

    New Stage Location

We’re moving the main stage to heart of campus. We'll see you in Campus Park; a bigger space, meaning a bigger stage for unmissable artists.

  • Drone Photo of UPSU Summer Ball

    Upgraded VIP Space

With private toilets, an exclusive viewing area, chill out zone and extra welcome drink, VIP offers incredible value for money. VIP closes at 12:30am.
