Extra Mile

Extra Mile is a programme designed to recognise all our Societies and Sports Clubs who go above and beyond to provide an excellent level of service, opportunity and experience for their members. It also helps the Sports & Societies team to achieve its strategic goals within the UPSU strategy.

Extra Mile Information

The Extra Mile Accreditation scheme uses a grading system

• Bronze
• Silver
• Gold

These awards demonstrate to UPSU, the Sabbatical Officers team, University of Plymouth and the Student community how student groups are actively making a difference to develop and engage the members.

There are a number of incentives for the Student groups including increased recognition

UPSU Extra Mile is renewed annually.

How to complete Extra Mile:

1. With your committee decide which Extra Mile Award you are aiming for
   1. Sports Clubs: Go through that Extra Mile Award and tick off the criteria checklist one by one and collate evidence.
   2. Societies: Go through that Extra Mile Award and tick off the criteria checklist one by one and collate evidence.
