The 2019 British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Fleet Championships were held on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November at the Mount Batten Centre in the Plymouth Sound and hosted by the University of Plymouth Sailing Club.
The championship is the largest university sailing event of the year with over 80 boats racing in the Plymouth Sound, with universities as far away as Edinburgh coming to Plymouth to compete. Despite the sailing been cancelled on the Saturday due to high winds, 4 races where completed on the Sunday and the Plymouth Boys team managed to grab 3rd place overall.
