On the 27th of November 2022, the University of Plymouth Law Society raised money for their chosen charity Inside Justice by hosting a very successful fundraising quiz in the Student Union building.
Claire von Hoesslin:
"We hosted the event in the Hive, thinking it would be quiet due to the football; oh boy, we were very wrong. We begged, borrowed and stole chairs and tables from the SU as more and more competitors streamed through the door. Our Quiz Masters Brigena Disha and Eniola Atere hosted our quiz, as I hurriedly handed out papers and took entry money.
The quiz was made up of 6 rounds; music, sports, science, legal knowledge, legal film characters and a picture round.
This event was a great way for the University of Plymouth Law Society to not only interact with its members, but also socialise with individuals from other societies and students. The atmosphere was buzzing all evening as competitors exchanged knowledge and speculated answers. We raised £64 for our charity Inside Justice."
UPLS are looking to host another charity quiz with lecturers in the New Year. More information will be provided soon.
