As a part of Discovery Weeks you can help to conserve local woodlands in Plymouth. 

Tasks will involve general maintenance of the woods as well as helping to identify new species of plant and wildlife in the area. This work may contain some tasks that will work up a sweat so please tak this into consideration. 

Nearly 10 acres of mixed woodland in the heart of Plymouth. Tulgey Woods Sancturary CIC provides home to various forms of flora and fauna. Many species are to be expected but some are a little more unusual.

Weather appropriate clothing and suitable shoes will be needed during your time and please bring water and a snack. 

You will meet at Students' Union Building and walk together to the woods, they are situated around a 20 minute walk from campus. A map will be provided by staff in the Hive. The activity will finish around 3pm and volunteers can make their own way to your homes from there.
