Q.Will I need an induction?
All new members are required to have an induction on joining. Inductions are at no extra cost. We offer two levels of inductions: standard and comprehensive.
Q.How far in advance can I book an activity?
Exercise class can be booked up to 7days in advance. Sports hall booking and squash courts can be booked up to 14days in advance.
Q.Can I pay for my booking on the day?
In order to secure your booking must be paid for at the time of booking. This can be done via invoice (5 bookings or more); online; over the phone or at reception.
Q.I need to cancel an exercise class/squash/sports hall booking. How can I do this?
If you are unable to attend an activity, you must notify the sports centre. This can be done by calling 01752 588510, using the online booking system or visiting reception. We are unable accept email cancellations. A notice period of 1 hour is required, if this is not given you will be charged for the activity
Q.How do I book a Squash Court?
Squash courts are available to anyone for £4 before noon and £5 after per court.
Q.Which email address do I use to login to the centre's online booking system?
Your login email address will be the address that you documented on your sports centre membership form.
Q.How can I change my password?
After logging into the online system, click the “account” tab and then select “update account details”. Then type your new password into the password box. You will then be sent an email to confirm the new password.
Q.Can non-members use the online booking system?
Non-members are required to book activities over the telephone or by visiting reception. Only members of the sports centre can book on the online booking resource.
Q.How do I create an account?
Proceed to www.upsu.com/login/ - Students will be able to login using their university account details. Make sure to click the student login button. For staff and guest accounts, click the register tab at the top of the page, UPSU staff must create a staff account, Plymouth University staff must create a guest account.
Q.How can I see if I've made an online purchase?
You'll only be able to view this when logged in. At the top left of the navigation bar, hover over 'Account' then select 'purchase history'.
Q.How do I re-send my purchase confirmation?
When on the 'purchase history' page, click into a specific purchase, you'll then see an option to 'Resend confirmation email'. Be sure to check your spam/junk folders.
Q.How do I change my password?
When logged in, hover over 'Account' in the navigation menu, and select 'Change Password'. Do note this option will only be view-able on a desktop or laptop.
