Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
3,930 miles from Plymouth to the motherland, Pakistan, our goal is to inculcate our diverse and unique culture to fellow students at Plymouth University by organizing fun-filled events throughout the year. The events lined up for this academic year include a Meet and Greet, an end-of-year PakSoc Ball, cricket matches, challenge/quiz nights, and collaborations with other societies within the university, and UK Pakistani societies.
As part of the manifesto of the society 22/23, we believe 'giving back' should hold great emphasis which is why we are excited to hold our annual The Pakistan Foundation (TPF) Pakistan Week once again. TPF Pakistan Week is a charity week in February jam packed with many fundraising events to help Pakistan to continue it's prosperous path of success and glory.
DISCLAIMER: This society does not discriminate whether you're Pakistani or not or if you're Muslim or not or if you're an international student or not. As Quaid-e-Azam once said: “You are free; you are free to go to your temples. You are free to go to your mosques or to any other places of worship in the State of Pakistan. You may belong to any religion, caste or creed—that has nothing to do with the business of the state.” So feel free to sign up for a unique experience.
If you have any concerns or questions about the society, please do not hesitate and contact us via Instagram, Facebook, or email (paksocplymouth@hotmail.com)
