About this vacancy

As a Communication and Design Coordinator you will promote the University of Plymouth Students’ Union (UPSU) and its activities and services through the design, production and distribution of promotional materials through both digital and physical platforms.  You will support the implementation of communication and digital plans, advertising and promotional activities.

Please see Job Description and Person Specification for full details; we are seeking applications from candidates who have:

  1. Degree level education or equivalent (essential)
  2. Graphic Design qualification (desirable)
  3. Previous relevant professional design experience (essential)
  4. Experience of designing for digital and print – and advising on best design and communications practice (essential)
  5. Experience of working from brief to completion of projects (essential)
  6. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and a comprehensive knowledge of MS packages
  7. Experience of customer service/sales (desirable)
  8. Web Design & development experience (desirable)
  9. Knowledge of social media marketing techniques (desirable)
