SLV Micro Volunteering: Zooniverse

SLV Micro Volunteering: Zooniverse

Friday 15 March 2019

noon - 4pm

Rolle 210

Event Description:

We will be working with Zooniverse - the world's largest online research site. Whether you want to help spot tigers, transcribe the words of Shakespeare, or discover supernovas we have a volunteer opportunity for everyone!

The project is a great way to take some time out from university stress, meet new people, and make a real difference in the local and wider community. There is no ongoing commitment – just pop along when you can and stay for as long as you are able.

Volunteering is such a great way of being part of the wider community whilst at university so we hope that you all have the opportunity to join us.

If you haven't already done so please remember to register on the Volunteer toolkit so we can log your hours -

We all hope to see you out this year and look forward to meeting you all!
