Want to escape university and do some practical conservation to help barn owls and their natural habitat? You will also be able to meet some of the Barn Owl Trust's resident owls on the day.
We will be meeting in The Hive at 9am and taking mini bus to Ashburton and we will be back on campus no later than 5pm.
Travel is included as is tea and biscuits! Please bring lunch, a drink and a mug if you would like a hot drink.
Remember to wear clothing suitable for the weather, that you don't mind getting dirty, preferably long sleeved for this task. Suitable shoes must also be worn. Waterproof coats and trousers can be borrowed for a £20 deposit from the volunteering office within the Hive (Monday to Friday 10-3:30pm) if they are returned clean and dry within 72 hours the deposit will be refunded.
The sign up sheet will be available in the Hive on Wednesday 13th March and if you haven’t done so please remember to register on the volunteer toolkit on the UPSU website so we can log your hours - https://www.upsu.com/volunteer/toolkit/
