Event Description:

We're back! Come and join us as we cut and burn some small birch trees and European gorse from the heath which will provide a good habitat for a whole range of bird species.

We will be having a fire and this will be the perfect day to get away from uni work.

If you haven't joined us before now is the perfect time to come along, meet some new people and make a difference in your local community.

Travel is included as is tea and biscuits! Please bring lunch, a drink and a mug if you would like a hot drink.
 
Remember to wear clothing suitable for the weather, that you don't mind getting dirty. Suitable shoes must be worn. Waterproof coats and trousers can be borrowed for a £20 deposit from the volunteering office within the Hive (Monday to Friday 9:30-4:30) if they are returned clean and dry within 72 hours the deposit will be refunded.
